Certified Stormwater Inspector – Self Audit Preparation
How do you measure the effectiveness of your stormwater program? Have you appropriately and thoroughly implemented the requirements of your MS4 permit? Are you prepared for an audit from state and/or federal agencies?
Using the Self Audit Preparation Checklist tool by National Stormwater Center, adapted from the EPA Region 6 Audit Checklist, you will be able to assess the current and detailed status of each program element in your municipality.
Registrants will receive the Self Audit Preparation Checklist on CD, and are asked to score as many of the elements as possible before class. Bring your scored Checklist to the 6-hour online webinar class (3 hours each day), and receive feedback on your program from the subject matter experts of the National Stormwater Center and from your professional stormwater peers. Network with your peers to gain an understanding of the implementation of their program, and perhaps learn new ways to support the implementation of your program.
